Tablets will kill netbook sales

The overall PC market is expected to top 400 million units this year.

Netbooks have been a small portable option over the past few years , but Ipad introduced ( well, there where tablets in the past... but they failed) a new , smaller (?) and more human style computer, the tablet.

These small tech devices are everything a computer is , but in a smaller and more connective way. They are not as powerful as a desktop computer ( compared to present times, they are more powerful than the average computer in 2004 ) , they are smaller than a portable , they are easier to use , they do almost everything a netbook does and they are much more cooler.

So Ipad created a new version of computers , a version that will consume the sole purpose of netbooks, being easier and smaller than portables.

However , only in a year or 2 , with Ipad 3 or 4 , we will see extremely powerful tablets ( comparing to nowadays average ) , with enhanced graphics , processing capacity and who knows, 3D screens. When that comes , tablets will be as ubiquitous as cell phones are.
